Homewatch Association members from across Merseyside were recognised at a recent event hosted by Merseyside Police.
0n 1st June Chief Constable Serena Kennedy headed up the Merseyside Valuing Volunteers evening. Homewatch representatives included Lynne Fairclough (Chair, Merseyside Association), Stuart Dunwoodie (Chair, Southport Homewatch Association), Jacqueline Webb (Vice Chair, Southport Homewatch Association) and Dave Stanley (Treasurer, Southport Homewatch Association).
The event is a way for Merseyside Police to say thank you to those individuals who give up their time to help the Police. Some of the stories were very humbling and the committee were honoured to represent those Scheme Leaders who form the core of the Homewatch network.
